Primarily named as Roving Software in 1995, Constant Contact started business at the time when the sole purpose of people getting into email was because of communicating with friends and loved ones. Just a way to get personal messages across great distances. However, the founders of Constant Contact believed back then that email is “a valuable marketing tool that would help small businesses level the playing field in the battle against big business.”

Long story short – by 2005, they already had 50,000 customers which then doubled two years later. Safe to say that the founders were right in their belief.

Through the years, the company stayed true to their mission: to empower small businesses and nonprofits to grow customer relationships and succeed. Today, Constant Contact operates as an Endurance business unit—the largest in its portfolio of brands, which also includes Bluehost, HostGator, and iPage.

How to send your first email through Constant Contact.

  1. To create your first email, go to your dashboard and click on Create an Email.

  1. Now choose the template that you like.

  1. Start customizing your email with all the available tools and make it look good and add your content.

  1. After that’s done, you can check to see how it looks like and send a test email before sending it for real.

  1. If you are satisfied with your email, you can now click on Continue to go to the next step.

  1. In sending an email, you can choose to send immediately or schedule a day and time to send it. After filling up the required information, you can click on the Send Now or Schedule button to finally send the email to your contacts. You did it!

How much will this cost me?

Well, it won’t cost you that much if you think about all the features and tools that come with it.

The pricing is dependent on the number of subscribers, so the more contacts you have, the more expensive it is. They also offer a 1-month trial for free so it woud best if you try it out before spending any money on it.
